Terms of Service

These terms apply to the Notoq website (notoq.app), the Notoq account and the Game Center. Our Discord bot is covered by separate terms at notoq.xyz.

To use a Notoq account you must be at least 16 years old. Minors require the consent of their legal guardians. By registering you confirm that the information you provide is accurate.

You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account. An account belongs to one person and is non-transferable. In the event of abuse, security risks or violations of these terms, we may suspend or close an account.

We provide you with the Notoq account and the Game Center. Core features are free; optional premium features are paid. We continuously improve our services, features may be added, changed or removed. We give reasonable notice of significant changes.

The Game Center connects to your own accounts on platforms such as Steam, Epic, Xbox or GOG and launches games you legally own there. Notoq is not affiliated with these providers; their trademarks belong to their respective owners. Your use is also subject to the terms of the respective platform.

Paid subscriptions are processed through our partner Paddle as "Merchant of Record". Billing is done in advance for the selected period; subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the term. You can cancel your subscription at any time to the end of the term via the Paddle portal.

As a consumer you have a 14-day right of withdrawal when entering into a paid digital service. Your right of withdrawal expires early if you expressly agree that we begin performance before the period ends and you confirm your knowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.

You agree not to misuse our services. In particular, the following is prohibited:

• reverse engineering or attempting to derive source code
• automated scraping or unauthorized use of our interfaces
• circumventing security or protection mechanisms
• unlawful use or infringing the rights of third parties

Content you add (e.g. profile details, avatar) belongs to you. You grant us a simple right to store and display this content for the operation and provision of the service. You are responsible for ensuring your content is lawful. We may remove unlawful content.

We strive for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. Maintenance and disruptions outside our control, for example at Discord or gaming platforms, are excluded.

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for the breach of essential contractual obligations and limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract. Liability is otherwise excluded.

We may amend these terms. We announce significant changes at least 14 days in advance (e.g. by email or on the website). Continued use after they take effect constitutes acceptance. If you have an active subscription, you may cancel as of the date the changes take effect.

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods; mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected. We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
